The Event

The UN General Assembly endorsed the holding of the World Summit on Information Society (WSIS) in two phases: Geneva (10-12 Dec’03) and Tunis (16-18 Nov’05).

 

The Project

Atos Origin was selected as IT partner by the Tunisian organizing committee (COSMSI) of the event following a public tender. The project started in April 2005 and was conducted in 8 months.

  • 22,000 accredited participants provided with RFID passes 
  • 12 access control points 
  • 50 working rooms, per 5 events per room and day, then 250 events per day, in total: 750 EVENTS IN 3 DAYS 
  • KRAM was the main Venue and there were an additional 14 small venues 
  • 10,000 Documents and Video managed during the event
