The challenge was to implement a sophisticated IT logistics system that meets all VDA communication standards and operates across national boarders with the Stuttgart group as supplier.

For the logistics implementation, and control, in the this project, Atos Origin uses its software FORS which has been especially designed for automobile suppliers. The logistics system provides Porsche with all the essential functionality that is important for a supplier.

The application ensures fast logistic processing and high availability. In addition, there are the benefits and services of using standardized software, such as reliability, customer support, regular updates and training. All this meant that the program was quickly accepted by the Porsche team.
